Warehouse Manager - Plastics – Base Salary to 140k/year – Charlotte, NC

• Our client is a leading plastics manufacturer and has been in business for over 100 years. They have a diverse product line and are rapidly growing.
• Reporting directly to the Director of Supply chain, the Warehouse Manager will be responsible for leading warehousing management development, logistics operations, and transportation management across North America.

Responsibilities:

• Supply chain management, including development and tracking of tools to improve delivery performance.
• Directing warehouse personnel/operations to ensure schedules are met on time.
• Drive inventory accuracy and eliminate losses while improving cost optimization.
• Supervising and training of direct reports to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure all outbound orders are properly documented, accurate, and packed as per customer expectations.
• Maintain warehouse, and material handling, equipment ensuring preventive maintenance is performed as per schedule.
• Coordinate, oversee, and execute all shipping functions.
• Oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing receiving activities.
• Supporting Warehouse Center wide projects and help ensure all deliverables are completed.
• Identifying continuous improvement opportunities and implementing solutions to improve results.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of warehouse management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain.
• Experience with Oracle or similar WMS.
• Supply chain management experience.
• Knowledge of TMS and freight optimization models.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 120k – 140k/year range
