Warehouse Associate – Plumbing & HVAC Industry – Base Salary to 50k/year – Plainview, NY
- Our client, an expert in energy efficiency and a wholesaler/distributor of HVAC and Refrigeration Equipment for over 98 years is looking for an exceptional leader with experience in all aspects of warehouse management.
- The Warehouse Associate will be a crucial member for this team by leveraging their knowledge of warehousing processes and driving results.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs safely and efficiently.
- Experience and proficiency with UPS, FedEx, and LTL (Less than Truckload) shipping procedures.
- Forklift operation experience and/or certification preferred, but not mandatory.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Demonstrated long-term experience in warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
- Strong computer literacy and ability to navigate digital systems efficiently.
- Safely handle and move products within the warehouse.
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments using appropriate equipment.
- Process incoming and outgoing orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and organization within the warehouse.
- Utilize ERP systems to track inventory, shipments, and orders.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Always adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a similar warehouse role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities.
- Flexible schedule availability is a plus.
Compensation:
- Base salary up to 50k/year
