Vice President of Sales – Casters - Base Salary to 250k/year - Dallas, TX
- Founded over 40 years ago, our client in the Caster space provides solutions for any industry that needs free-turning wheels (such as grocery carts, hospital beds, office chairs, material handling equipment, etc.) They have become one of the best known Caster and wheel companies in North America!
- They are currently looking to hire a Vice President of Sales to join their team. This position will focus on managing the current team of 5 Sales Representatives, as well as focus on expanding the team (looking to hire 6 - 7 Sales Representatives).
Responsibilities:
- Manage the current sales team of 5 Sales Representatives
- Source, recruit, hire and train additional sales members on the team
- Travel 20-25% throughout the US and Canada to coach and support the Sales Representative’s
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts for the sales team
- Represent the company’s business policies and procedures in conferences, tradeshows, and networking events
- Implement a new bonus/commission structure for Sales Representatives
- Create new processes for the business to ensure targets are met/exceeded
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of industrial Sales Management experience (preferably coming from selling into OEMs)
- Experience managing a team of Sales Representatives (at least 3+ people)
- Openness to overnight travel 25% of the time throughout the US and Canada
- Commutable to the office for check-in’s in Arlington, TX
- Understanding of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in the manufacturing sector, preferably in the caster or industrial hardware industry.
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 200k – 250k/year range plus bonus
- Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401k (match), cell phone reimbursement, 100% travel reimbursement, and mileage reimbursement
