Vice President of Operations – Plastic Manufacturing – Base Salary to 250k/year – Fort Worth, TX
- Our client, a top American-made Manufacturer & Distributor is seeking a Vice President of Operations to direct & strategically lead Manufacturing Operations across multiple plants throughout the US.
- In this role, the Vice President of Operations will establish Operations Standards for Cost Control, Waste Reduction, Quality, Safety, and Customer Satisfaction. Ideal candidates will have knowledge & experience with Extrusion and/or Injection Molding processes.
Responsibilities:
- Implement Lean Manufacturing Techniques & Strategic Changes in Manufacturing Operations to Improve Production & Customer Satisfaction
- Conduct Capacity Planning & Establish Performance Measures
- Build, Develop & Lead Manufacturing Operations Team
- Responsible for Strategic Planning, Capex & Budget Management
- Ensure Compliance with State & Federal Regulations
- Oversee Safety Program & Ensure Proper Training
- Develop Processes for Materials Management, Logistics & Production Scheduling
- Focus on People Management & Employee Development
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Preferably in Engineering or Related Field
- 10+ Years in Manufacturing Leadership Role
- Mult-site Management Experience
- Knowledge in Extrusion and/or Injection Molding Processes
- Long-term Strategic Planning Experience
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement Experience
- Strong Complex Problem-Solving Skills
- Ability to Travel
- Demonstrated Leadership & Team Development Experience
Compensation for this role includes a base salary up to 250k/year plus a discretionary bonus. Company also offers 401k with a match, top health benefits, and full relocation package.
