Utility Superintendent – Construction – Base Salary to 90k/year – Bryan, TX

• Our client is a multifaceted company with over 40 years of experience in the construction industry. They provide excellency in underground utilities, concrete, earthwork, excavation, demolition, drainage, and other site work needs.
• The Utility Superintendent will be responsible for the planning, execution, and management of utility construction projects. The Utility Superintendent will be responsible for coordinating resources, managing personnel, and ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget. The leadership, technical expertise, and organizational skills of the Utility Superintendent will be critical in driving the success of utility infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with project managers and engineering teams.
• Coordinate with utility companies, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with project specifications, permits, and regulations.
• Plan and schedule equipment, materials, and manpower to optimize project efficiency and productivity.
• Supervise construction activities to ensure adherence to project plans, quality standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate with project managers to address changes, modifications, and unforeseen challenges during construction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in utility construction, including water, sewer, stormwater, or electrical infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials related to utility infrastructure.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental regulations governing utility construction projects.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 65k – 90k/year range
• Yearly bonuses (5% based on company performance).
• Company-provided vehicle or gas stipend.
• 1 week of PTO in the first year, 2 weeks after 1 year.
