Traveling Superintendent – General Construction Company - Base Salary to 150k/year - Dallas, TX
- Our client is a highly successful Design Build/General Construction Company that has been a national leader in Industrial and Commercial construction since 1977. Their expertise includes Office, Commercial and Industrial projects, with an emphasis on the transportation industry including trucking, automotive and aviation facilities in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, throughout Texas and across the country.
- They are currently seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to join their team. Candidates must have ground-up commercial, light industrial experience , such as Warehouses, Industrial Buildings, Freight Facilities, and/or Tilt Wall experience is required. Candidates must live within the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area.
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day production of all construction operations on-site,
- Daily reports
- Managing schedule progress by updating project schedules and providing 3-week look ahead’s.
- Holding and leading subcontractor meetings.
- Managing RFIs
- Managing Safety
- Managing Quality Control
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience leading the field building Commercial Construction projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering a plus, but not required.
- Ground-up, tilt-wall experience is required.
- Ability to read and understand construction documents including project plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
- Clear understanding of the documentation and processes between the owner, architect, and contractor.
- Clear understanding of commercial construction means and methods.
- Experience with Procore, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and other construction related software is preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 100k – 150k/year range depending on experience.
