Territory Sales Representative - Security Hardware - Base Salary to 50k/year - Indianapolis, IN
- Our client offers innovative electronic and mechanical access control systems and the highest quality locking hardware to the military, government, education, healthcare, and commercial markets .
- Our client is seeking a Territory Sales Representative for their team in Indianapolis. The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for regional sales in the Greater Indianapolis region.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new sales opportunities within assigned territory through the use of multiple lead generation techniques.
- Provide effective sales presentations to prospective and current customers to ensure the product and services offered are thoroughly explained, understood, and ultimately sold.
- Plan a sales approach designed to determine the prospect’s need and want for the product/ services offered.
- Evaluate difficult accounts and develop plan to correct.
- Contact all assigned sales leads within 24 hours.
- Conduct facility surveys to determine the type of systems required and provide a cost proposal and layout to be used as a basis for the contract and for use with installation.
- Negotiate and establish sales quotes based on customer’s needs and nature of marketplace to effectively offer competitive pricing and ensure the highest level of customer service.
- Establish periodic goals and objectives, understand how they will be measured, receive feedback from management and work towards achieving the agreed upon results within the stated time period.
- Meet and exceed monthly quotas.
- May be called upon to assist in installation business as needed.
Qualifications:
- Sales experience preferred (B2B) - proficiency with Masterkeying
- Ability to work evening, and or weekends as needed
- Security clearance is required
Compensation:
- Base salary up to 50k/year, plus uncapped commission
- Company car
- PTO and paid holidays
