Territory Sales Representative - Industrial Equipment Provider - $50k Base + commission - Burlington, VT

Our client, a strong industrial equipment and material handling product dealer has an immediate need for a skilled Territory Sales Rep to handle a well performing territory located in and around Burlington, VT and Plattsburgh, NY markets.

This company is strong and stable, with over 30 years of business in the region.  They are very well known in the market and have built a strong base of customers.  They represent some of the best industrial equipment and material handling product manufacturers in the industry.  In addition, they have a strong inside support team that helps to provide top notch customer service and support to the customer base.

Responsibilities: In this Territory Sales role, you will focus on selling premiere lines of industrial equipment and material handling products to an industrial client base.  This is both direct product sales as well as equipment rental sales.  The contacts will be all things industrial and will include manufacturers, distribution centers, warehouses and more.  This is very much of a solution-based sale, and a role that will combine both hunting for new business as well as managing accounts and growing deeper relationships with existing customers.  You will report to the Industrial Sales Manager.

Compensation: Compensation for this position includes a base salary in the $50k range plus a commission package that can take you to $60k - $70k in year one.   In addition, the benefits are solid and will include a car package, a laptop and cell phone, full health, dental and vision, a 401k plan and more.

Requirements: You should have 3+ years over outside sales experience selling to a industrial client base. Ideally, you’ll be able to call on these contacts in this role. Experience with material handling equipment is ideal but not required.
