Territory Sales Representative - Construction Products - Base to 70k - Toledo, OH Market

Are you looking for a true career with a privately-owned regional leader? Our client is a provider of construction products and rental equipment that has been in business for 100 years. The average tenure of employees with this organization is 13 years. As a Territory Sales Representative, you will have autonomy to create your schedule and run the territory as it if were “your own business.” Along with a competitive compensation structure, you’ll also be given a brand new pickup truck. The company will provide top-of-the-line product training and offer support from the local branch. On top of that, you will take over a territory that has a consistent and reliable customer base.

Responsibilities: You will be tasked with creating, growing, and fostering relationships with GC’s, concrete contractors, flooring contractors and other similar prospects. This is a position that requires someone that has a confident, “go-getter” attitude that thrives on building relationships for the long-term. You will visit customers offices and meet on job sites.

Compensation: In this role, you will be offered a strong base salary around $70k, depending on experience. There is also a profit-sharing bonus paid out at the end of the year. First year compensation is expected to be between $75k - $80k. In addition, the company offers a strong benefits package and a brand new truck is provided to you!

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of outside sales experience in the construction or industrial markets. A book of contractor contacts and experience selling rental equipment to the construction market are also a plus.
