Territory Sales Representative - Building Products Manufacturer - Base Salary to 85k/year - Atlanta, GA

  • Our client is a 12+ year old company specializing in composite products that are energy efficient and sustainable for the high growth commercial building industry. The company specializes in continuous insulation by providing one of a kind Composite Sub-Framing Systems that meet the most recent ASHRAE requirements for commercial building envelopes.   • Currently, our client is seeking a Territory Sales Representative for the Atlanta, GA area for a territory consisting of the states of Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi. Their premier sales team is focused on bringing value to Architects, Specification Writers, General Contractors, and other commercial building professionals through advanced educational based selling by providing Quantifiable Performance and Economic Solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed sales quotas provided by the organization
  • Travel weekly throughout GA, AL, TN, and MS areas and present to customers and potential customers’ facilities providing them with information and support as required to secure business
  • Evaluate area performance against established objectives/guidelines (sales forecast, budget, number of new accounts, etc.) and take appropriate action to improve performance
  • Daily In person and virtual presentations—Training will be provided
  • Communicate customer requirements and request support from other departments as necessary to assist in achieving established objectives
  • Provide accurate forecast of sales on a timely basis
  • Assure that sales activities in the area comply with company policies and procedures
  • Assist in establishing sales objectives for area
  • Assist in developing an area coverage plan, which defines the type of support and frequency of customer contact required to meet territory goals
  • Provide timely reporting of activities in the field and special reporting to assist in business and product planning
  • AIA L&L Presentations in person and/or virtual
  • Maintain sales activity daily in the CRM system
  • Leads provided
  • Some cold calling is required
  • Established Quotes Pipeline

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years sales experience in the Atlanta, GA sales market required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent proven field sales background
  • Experience selling to Architects and General Contractors
  • Selling experience with commercial construction material for wall assembly, roofing, cladding, and continuous insulation is a plus
  • Must have the ability to close business with proven track record
  • Ability to travel throughout territory including overnight travel to support customer needs.

Compensation:

  • Base salary in the 75k - 85k/year range
  • Commission structure
