Territory Sales Representative - Building Products - Base Salary to 70k/year - Denver, CO 

  • Our client, with a history spanning over 75 years, has experienced significant growth and recently expanded into the Denver, CO market. They are seeking to expand their team with the addition of a Territory Sales Representative, offering limitless opportunities with this role. 
  • The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for actively pursuing sales potential with active customers and generating new business opportunities, quickly establishing relationships of trust for repeat business, while providing the best customer service. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Actively pursue sales potential with active customers utilizing the current stable base of business. 
  • Quickly establish relationships of trust to encourage repeat business. 
  • Demonstrate proactivity and self-motivation in mastering all product lines and understanding the industry. 
  • Exhibit absolute honesty and integrity in all interactions. 
  • Maintain personal accountability for performance. 
  • Foster teamwork and collaboration. 
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by exceeding expectations. 
  • Conduct field visits to clients and potential customers, comprising approximately 90% of working hours. 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients through regular face-to-face meetings and site visits. 
  • Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities while in the field. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and support for field initiatives. 

Qualifications:  

  • 1+ years of experience in B2B sales. 
  • 1+ years of experience in the wood product, hardwood, lumber, cabinetry, or millwork industry. 
  • Demonstrated track record of success in sales roles. 
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

Compensation:  

  • Base salary to 70k/year, plus commission 
  • Medical/dental/vision insurance
