Territory Sales Representative - National Building Product Provider - up to $100k - Northeast US Territory 

Are you a motivated hunter looking for an opportunity to build your career and control your success? Our client, a leading flooring provider representing some of the top manufacturers in the industry, is looking for experienced flooring sales professional to establish and grow the Northeast region into a major revenue-producing territory.  You’ll take an aggressive, relationship building approach to generating new business within the retail market. In this role, you’ll have support from an inside sales staff and the National Sales Manager. This is a remote position and the company will provide you with everything you need to have success.

Responsibilities: As a Territory Sales Representative, your job will be to call on the retail market (not Big Box) to grow current business relationships or convert from competitors. Identifying and relentlessly prospecting new clients is vital. You’ll be seen as the product expert and will train customers on the application and functionality of the products. You’ll take a strategic and analytical approach to planning and then aggressively implement the sales plan to maximize business potential. This position will require you to travel up to 50% throughout Southern California, Arizona and Nevada.

Compensation: The compensation for the role is a strong base salary + guaranteed commission that can take you up to $100k. The OTE for this role is $150k! There’s also an end of year bonus that can add an additional $10k to total compensation. Along with a strong compensation plan, the company offers a comprehensive benefits package, cell phone, laptop and home office equipment.  There is also a car allowance program and an expense card.

Requirements: You’re a motivated flooring sales professional with 5+ years of experience, ideally selling hardwood flooring to the retail market. The challenge of a somewhat new territory is motivating to you and you are looking to invest in long-term career growth.
