Territory Sales Representative – Stainless Steel and Aluminum Processing – Base Salary to 95k/year + Commission – Dallas, TX

  • The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for regional sales in the Texas market. Responsibilities will include direct selling stainless steel and aluminum flat roll to established customers, as well as developing sales prospects within the assigned territory. Must have a solid understanding of the stainless steel and aluminum industry, sales, customer relations, metal fabrication, and safety. Will work closely with engineers and general contractors; will work with the estimating department to ensure that bids and proposals are completed per customer requirements and will utilize strong sales skills to influence customer decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Grows profitable sales within strategic and opportunistic growth segments.
  • Develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales.
  • Schedules and performs cold calls to existing customers in their assigned territory.
  • Researches and provides competitive information regarding the aluminum and stainless steel industry.
  • Maintains a key customer base by ensuring profitable business relationships.
  • Estimates, quotes effectively customer projects.
  • Converts opportunities into invoiced sales.
  • Maintains a current understanding of industry trends and technical developments that influence target accounts.
  • Monitors, analyzes, and communicates sales data to contribute to product/service schedule and planning.
  • Responds to customer information requests; collaborates with cross-functional departments to ensure a timely and accurate response.
  • Adheres to Code of Conduct as well as customer confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of aluminum fabrication, or industrial stainless sales
  • Experience in calculating proportions, circumference and volume required; experience with slitting
  • Must reside in the territory

Compensation:

  • Base salary in the 75k – 95k/year range, plus commission
  • Benefits Package (medical, dental, vision)
