Territory Sales Representative – Metal Service Center and Distributor – Base Salary to 80k/year – San Jose, CA

  • Our client is a metal service center and distributor with steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and red metal inventory of multiple shapes and sizes.
  • They are currently seeking a Territory Sales Representative for their growing team. The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for sales in the San Jose/San Francisco market(s).

Responsibilities:

  • Plan daily routes and call on customers and prospects to build relationships.
  • Build territory/account approach and monitor resources.
  • Partner with the local facility leaders to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Utilizes and updates ERP systems and Sales Force.
  • Prioritizes concurrent customer's demands and provides satisfactory service to all.
  • Balances concurrent requests for assistance from internal and external customers for customer service issues

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
  • 5+ or more years of steel, stainless, and aluminum sales in the San Jose/San Francisco market(s)
  • Proficiency within Microsoft applications
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and Salesforce

Compensation:

  • Base salary in the 80k – 100k/year range
  • Commission
  • Benefits Package
