TIG Welder - Manufacturing - Base Salary to 30.00/hour - Plainfield, CT

• Our client, a family-owned business recognized for its achievements and boasting over five decades of establishment, is currently in search of a TIG Welder to become a valuable addition to their team!
  
• The TIG Welder will be responsible for performing precision welding tasks to fabricate, assemble, and repair components according to technical specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform TIG welding on steel and aluminum components
  
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  
• Set up and operate TIG welding equipment safely and efficiently
  
• Inspect welds for accuracy and quality
  
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
  
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
  
• Use measuring tools to ensure precise welds
  
• Repair or rework defective welds as needed
  
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors
  
• Maintain welding equipment and report any malfunctions

Qualifications:

• Proficient in MIG and TIG welding
  
• Ability to read and interpret spec sheets and technical drawings
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
  
• Must pass a weld test to demonstrate welding proficiency

Compensation:

• Base salary to 30.00/hour
