Solution Account Manager – Consumer Packaged Goods – Base to 125k/year – San Diego, CA

  • Our client is a well-known, American manufacturer, of various connectivity and networking products. This company has been in business for over 100 years and has multiple targeted verticals that allow them to capture an even larger market segment.
  • Our solutions-based data and connectivity company is looking to add a Solution Account Manager to the West Coast team to expand their CPG vertical market. This person will be tasked with winning new business and growing current accounts. This role is not product selling, but rather using value-based selling to propose solutions on how our client company can be of value to customers. The ideal candidate for this position will reside on the west coast, to travel to customer locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Find opportunities to execute the selling strategy to move customers through the buying process
  • Translate customer priorities into a solution-based proposal
  • Maintain awareness of market technology, trends, and competitors
  • Identify ways to expand revenue within existing customers

Qualifications:

  • BS in business or related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a professional direct-sales role
  • Experience utilizing a Value Based Selling process is required
  • Proven track record in the CPG industry
  • Working knowledge of various sales fundamentals: account planning & management, funnel management, negotiation, etc.
  • Experience winning accounts from end-users
  • Ability to grow territory and expand current accounts
  • Ability to travel domestically to prospect and client companies up to 60%

Compensation:

  • Base salary up to 125k/year
  • Up to 40% annual bonus that is paid quarterly based on sales goals
  • Company paid vehicle and/or mileage reimbursement with car stipend

About Me:

I was born and raised in York, Pa. I completed my freshman year of college at Towson University. I soon realized Astronomy was not my thing, so I transferred back home to York College to pursue a career in Business. I completed my Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Entrepreneurship and a minor in Marketing. I chose AllSearch because it felt like home. What I do in my free time?

My dad and I brew beer! My dream one day is to open up a brewery with him. If I’m not doing that, I am either reading about conspiracy theories, spending money at Target, or playing with my dog—those are really my only hobbies.

Piece of advice I would give myself?

Always remember money can’t buy happiness; but it can buy you a boat, which would probably make you a little happy. Piece of advice number two: it’s the little things in life that make it worth wild.

What I typically eat for breakfast?

Cereal. There is no argument there here, Frosted Flakes are the best.
