Social Media Manager – Nonprofit Sector – Base Salary to 60k/year – Kansas City, MO

  • Our client is a renowned non-profit organization dedicated to Christian Education Advocacy, and is actively seeking a Social Media Manager. The Social Media Manager will manage day to day operations of its social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Work with its content creation team to consistently carry out magnifying this non-profit’s brand throughout the U.S.
  • Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm, In-studio position, with generous benefits and paid time off.


  • Plan and execute all social media initiatives, working closely with communications and content teams 
  • Monitor social media platforms to support communication and relationships with the Christian Non-Profit Organization’s audience 
  • Research and strategize content, keeping up with trends in a constantly evolving field 
  • Contribute smart and creative ideas to support the Foundation’s goals
  • Lead results tracking and reports 
  • Assume additional responsibilities as reasonably assigned 


  • Support the mission of the Christian Non-Profit Organization
  • Strong computer and related technical skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Canva, and familiarity with graphic design and brand concepts 
  • Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal 
  • Ability to meet deadlines 
  • Work well in a team environment 
  • Creativity and originality with knowledge of foundational digital techniques, tools, and principles 
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • A passion for social media, writing and graphic design 
  • Excellent grammar and strong proofreading skills 
  • Attention to detail and highly organized 
  • Resourceful and fast learner 


  • Base salary in the 45k - 60k/year range dependent on experience.
  • Health, dental, and vision coverage for employee and their family, with the company covering 70 percent of the cost. Coverage begins on the first day of the month following the date of hire.
  • 100% company match on 6 percent retirement contribution, with a 90-day waiting period.
  • Life and disability coverage at 100 percent.
  • 18 days of Paid Time Off in the first year, increasing to 21 days from the second year onwards.
  • 9 paid holidays annually.
  • Provision of a laptop and all necessary equipment.
