Site Supervisor - Banking Industry Construction - Base Salary to 90k/year - Minneapolis, MN

• Our client is a commercial GC that specializes in construction on financial business nationwide, with a focus on the Midwest. Projects range from light remodeling to full ground up brank branches. They have been in the business over 50 years, and pride themselves on hands-on management and a collaborative, problem solving culture.
• In this role, the Site Supervisor will be overseeing multiple projects, the most important one being an upcoming high end administrative TI in downtown Minneapolis. The city is a growing market for them, and it’s crucial that they deliver on this roughly 10 million dollar project. This candidate should have commercial construction leadership experience, including at least one high end office remodel, as well as strong problem solving and communication skills. This is a long-term position in a positive, team-based environment.

Responsibilities:

• Track workflow and ensure subcontractor crews are set up
• Ensure delivery of materials, equipment, and resources
• Oversee primarily subcontractors as well as some self-performing crews
• Understand labor force required by trades to meet schedules
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Team Leads throughout the project lifecycle
• Work with and maintain open communication lines with senior level clients
• Understand the importance of working in an operating space and the challenges that come with making sure all parties are accommodated.
• Work shifts vary depending on individual project needs, and can include nights, weekends and bank holidays
• Log relevant activity in company database
• Ensure on site safety protocols are adhered to

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in commercial carpentry required
• Experience on at least one high end office remodel project
• Construction leadership experience required
• Ability to work onsite locally for the next year, with an option to stay on based on willingness to travel (prefer long term candidates)
• Ability to coordinate with PMs and Crew Leads
• Ability to manage subcontractors
• Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret plans and specifications
• Ground up commercial construction experience preferred, fit out and build out experience required
• Procore knowledge strongly preferred, BIM would be a plus

• Base salary in the 80k – 90k/year range
