Site Operations Manager - Building Products Manufacturer - Base Salary to 130k/year - Williamsport, PA
- Our client, a well-established Building Products Manufacturer is currently seeking a Site Operations Manager for their Williamsport, PA area plant.
- They are an inspiring global leader with 70+ years of experience supporting a wide range of markets and building solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Focus is both on the employee and customer experience: safety, highly collaborative cross-functional culture, coaching/mentoring/ development of the team, customer service; change agent in a company on a growth trajectory
- Lean/ Efficiency, Continuous Improvement, ISO/Quality operations environment
- Provide technical and managerial support to supervisors and hourly employees
- Manage 70-80 team members on multiple shifts (manufacturing / warehousing)
- Ensure the production of quality products on a timely basis for customers. Collaborate across company departments including presenting to senior leadership to identify opportunities for improvement and capital investment.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of manufacturing management experience (people and processes)
- Lean Manufacturing knowledge and an ability to implement Lean methodology & utilize tools such as 5S, Six Sigma, and Kaizen evaluations
- Continuous Improvement/ CI; growth outlook; pro-active approach – the ability to blend strategic vision with tactical action steps
- Effective leadership /supervisory skills including over: hiring, retention, motivation / coaching, performance review, training, and discipline
- Demonstrated People Leader (coach / mentor / team development and help manage through change)
- Sound management judgment and strategic business view, budgets/ P&L
- Ability to effectively solicit and apply feedback from SME’s and team members
- Measurement of performance to goals and standards (KPIs) including utilization of reporting and dashboards; some ERP system experience
- An ability to balance and achieve positive results in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, cost, and employee relations
Compensation :
- Base salary in the 110k – 130k/year range
- Bonus eligible 10%
