- Our client, a well-established company with over 50 years of experience and significant growth in recent years, is seeking a Site Manager to oversee operations and manufacturing at their Memphis, TN facility.
- The Site Manager will lead a production team and oversee all operations of a fast-paced building products manufacturing facility. Key responsibilities include tracking daily performance metrics, managing budgets, ensuring safety protocols, optimizing production flow, and controlling material costs. In this role, the Site Manager will be accountable for driving bottom-line results.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule production activities, supervising the entire production process.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and manage downtime to ensure operational efficiency.
- Control inventory through regular counts and audits.
- Maintain a strong commitment to health, safety, quality, productivity, housekeeping, and environmental compliance.
- Estimate production costs, uphold high quality standards, and ensure excellent customer service.
- Monitor product standards and implement quality control programs.
- Maximize the efficiency of transportation and logistics.
- Collaborate effectively with various departments, including suppliers, sales, and customers, to achieve organizational policies and goals.
- Ensure compliance with all local and federal environmental regulations.
- Strive to meet and exceed expected financial returns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of ten years of progressive experience and/or training
- Strong planning, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Prior P&L experience
- Proven leadership skills with a focus on team collaboration
- Experience in building products manufacturing preferred
Compensation:
- Base salary to 115k/year
