Senior Tool Room Technician – Injection Molding – Base Salary to 65k/year – Dallas, TX
- Our client, an industry leader in plastic injection molded connectors & components, is seeking a Senior Tooling Technician to complete maintenance, change over and repairs to injection molding tools.
- In this role, the Senior Tool Technician will perform preventative maintenance and insert changes to the injection molds in support of production.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains accurate log of Preventative Maintenance and insert changes
- Identifies tooling deficiencies during preventative maintenance
- Participates in Root cause analysis of tooling breakage and/ or damage
- Ensure clean, organized and safe environment
- Leads creation, organization and maintenance of TPIs, including work instructions, photo-documentation, historical logging and vision control
- Leads tool room organization, including mold spare components & standard components
- Provides support to molding operations
Qualifications:
- High school degree
- 2+ years of experience in tooling/manufacturing environment
- Experience with Injection Mold maintenance and repairs
- Solid understanding of Injection Molding process
- Strong attention to detail and willing to listen and discuss
- Excellent interpersonal relations and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with limited direct supervision
- Ability to work with quickly changing priorities and short deadlines.
- Ability to successfully communicate with internal and external customers.
- Provide exceptional support to internal customers (Molding, Production, Special Ops).
Compensation for this role includes a base salary up to 65k/year, and is overtime eligible. Our client also offers competitive health and life benefits & 401k. Relocation assistance is available.
