Senior Mold Maker - 2nd Shift Manufacturing - Base Salary to 50.00/hour - Chaska, MN

• They are looking for a Senior Mold Maker, who will be dedicated to the creation, upkeep, and enhancement of precision molds and fixtures. The Senior Mold Maker will work in a hands-on, detail-oriented setting, and is seeking a long-term career opportunity with the potential for growth.
  
• Work schedule options include evening shift: 4 days/week (1: 30 PM – 11: 30 PM), and alternative: 5 days/week (1: 30 PM – 9: 30 PM). Overtime opportunities and shift premium included. 

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and modify mold components and inserts used in production tooling
  
• Conduct repairs promptly to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency
  
• Keep thorough records of mold history and documentation
  
• Operate sophisticated machining tools (including CNC mills, EDMs, and lathes) with precision
  
• Identify and address tooling-related challenges during production cycles
  
• Assist in achieving production objectives through various tasks and teamwork
  
• Clean, assemble, and reassemble molds according to established guidelines
  
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate across functions

Qualifications:

• Completion of a technical training program or apprenticeship in mold fabrication or precision machining or 5+ Years of experience in Mold Making
  
• 3+ years of applicable experience in mold creation and maintenance
  
• Strong mechanical skills and troubleshooting ability
  
• Proficient in interpreting technical documents and performing basic math and data entry
  
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long durations
  
• Comfortable with repetitive hand and wrist movements
  
• Attention to detail for quality assurance inspections
  
• Open to working overtime and being part of on-call rotations
  

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 29.00 - 50.00/hour range
  
• 10% evening shift premium
  
• Potential $3, 000 sign-on bonus
  
• 3 weeks of paid vacation annually
