Senior Estimator – Fire Sprinkler Industry – Base Salary to 120k/year – Newark, NJ
- Our client, a leading fire protection company, has an immediate need for a Senior Estimator for their Fire Sprinkler Service division. Our client has been in business for over 30 years, has a great reputation in the business, and has a goal to triple their revenue in the next few years for this division. They have a fantastic company culture and leadership team, with a strong servant leadership mentality.
- The Senior Estimator position requires a seasoned professional adept at accurately assessing project requirements and providing comprehensive cost estimates for fire protection systems. This pivotal role involves leveraging extensive industry knowledge to analyze project specifications, collaborate with internal teams, and deliver precise estimates that align with the company's commitment to safety and excellence in fire sprinkler services.
Responsibilities:
- Fire Sprinkler Estimating Experience, a must.
- Understanding of building/ construction codes
- Be able to read all forms of architectural, civil, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Reviewing fire sprinkler systems designs
- Utilize take-off software such as: bid site take off software, AutoCAD, blue beam, etc.
- Calculate job costs, overhead, and profit.
- Operating in salesforce and Procore.
- Review and interpret Contracts.
- Follow up on estimates gain new business.
- Interact with clients over the phone and in person meetings.
- Utilize Microsoft software to complete estimates and proposals: word, excel, outlook.
Qualifications:
- Fire Sprinkler Estimating Experience, a must.
- Mathematically inclined and pays attention to detail.
- Experience with New Jersey Code & Standards
- Must have 10+ years of experience.
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 90k – 120k/year range, dependent on experience
- 401k & Health Insurance
- Paid Vacation 21 PTO + Major holidays.
