Senior Engineering Project Manager - Injection Molding – Base Salary to 130k/year - Miami, FL
- Our client, a leader in Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) Injection Molding, is seeking a Senior Engineering Project Manager to schedule, direct and coordinate all activities related to business projects in order to ensure that volume, cost and quality & customer standards are met.
- In this role, the Senior Engineering Project Manager will oversee the day to day activities of engineering project development functions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of new customer projects and processes
- Interface with customers and discuss their LSR programs
- Assist in quoting new projects
- Create & modify 3D models & 2D drawings using CAD Software
- Provide engineering insight during the design and development process
- Work with Customers through program stages including: Early design review, Prototyping, Tool design, Tool validation, startup production & follow-up for the life of the program
- Identify inefficiencies and problems relating to production & present corrective actions
- Utilize knowledge of LSR and thermoplastics to make technical improvements to equipment, processes and methods
- Train new engineering team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering Preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with injection molding
- 5+ years of experience with project management
- 5+ years of leadership
- Automotive experience is a Plus
- CAD software experience (Solidworks preferred)
- LSR & Plastics Injection Molding Experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives with strong attention to detail
- Ability to interface directly with key customer contacts on technical teams
- Demonstrated ability to think critically & provide analysis to solve problems
- Understanding of statistical analysis tool and design of experiments
Compensation for this role includes a base salary up to 130k/year, plus an annual bonus. Our client also offers competitive health and life benefits & 401k.
