Senior Electrical Hardware Engineer – Sensors & Circuits– Base Salary to 175k/year – San Jose, CA
- Our client, a fast-growing software security startup, is seeking a Senior Electrical Hardware Engineer to join the engineering team & play a key role in developing & manufacturing threat detection hardware.
- In this role, the Senior Electrical Hardware Engineer with focus on building products according to technical requirements, as well as debugging & troubleshooting production issues. Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge in the fundamental principles of Electrical Engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Design, qualify & implement calibration or test systems
- Build tooling & test equipment for specific projects
- Debug Printed Circuit Boards
- Troubleshoot production issues
- Improve documentation, test procedures, and drive lean initiatives
- Introduce & qualify new parts & software
- Order parts as needed for test systems
- Track production & generate reports for upper management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3+ Years of Hardware Engineering Experience, including equipment troubleshooting & maintenance
- Solid Understanding of Core Electrical Engineering Principles & Ability to Translate to Circuit Design
- Process driven & well organized – Six Sigma training preferred
- Strong ability to analyze a circuit and detect and correct any errors
- Excellent communication skills for technical writing & developing standard operating procedures
Compensation for this role includes a base salary up to 175k/year. Our client also offers an annual bonus, flexible schedule, competitive health and life benefits & 401k.
