Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Manufacturing - Base Salary to 135k/year - Middletown, PA

• Our client, a growing manufacturer of high-reliability electronic products, is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join its engineering team. This role is responsible for the design, development, testing, and support of custom electronic products from concept through production. The position also works directly with customers to understand technical requirements and develop engineering solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed product and system layouts, drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation
• Design electronic circuits and printed circuit boards (PCBs) using ECAD software
• Develop analog circuits and power supply designs utilizing applicable power electronics topologies
• Perform circuit simulation and worst-case analysis using engineering software prior to production
• Test and validate electronic designs using electronic test equipment
• Support prototype development, testing, and transition into manufacturing
• Participate in engineering design reviews throughout product development
• Perform root cause analysis for manufacturing issues and customer returns
• Support experimental testing programs and analyze test results
• Review and approve Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and corrective action documentation
• Evaluate requests for quotations for technical feasibility and engineering requirements

Qualifications:

• BSEE or BSEET required
• Experience with analog circuit design
• Experience with power supply design
• Familiarity with power electronics topologies
• Experience with printed circuit board (PCB) design
• Experience using ECAD software, including Altium Designer or similar PCB design software
• Experience with circuit simulation tools
• Proficient in using electronic test equipment

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 90k - 135k/year range
