Senior Continuous Improvement Manager - Plastics Manufacturing - Base Salary to 140k/year - Salt Lake City, UT
- Our client is an industry leading medical and healthcare product manufacturer. Focusing in the dental and oral subdivision, this company has a nationwide presence. Forbes also recently ranked this client in the top 10 best manufacturing companies to work for.
- Our healthcare manufacturer is looking to add a Senior Continuous Improvement Manager to the team. The Senior Continuous Improvement Manager will have full responsibility for the direction and overall implementation of continuous improvement initiatives across various departments.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and drive a balance between data driven and people culture of CI at work by utilizing Lean Six Sigma principles
- Work with all levels of management to identify Continuous Improvement (CI) and Lean Six Sigma (LSS) initiatives
- Develop, maintain, and improve training materials and coordinate training efforts for the team
- Create, track, and drive KPI's for CI teams
- Lead and develop the CI team; currently a group of 4 other members
- Spearhead Kaizen events as needed
Qualifications:
- BS in Mechanical Engineer or Business Degree
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt; Mast Black Belt is Preferred
- 10+years of Continuous Improvement work; with spearheading at least 100 Kaizen events
- Robust background in change management
- 5+ years in leadership overseeing & mentoring a team
- 5+ years in manufacturing operations is preferred
- Background in ISO regulated or quality driven industry (medical devices, plastics, aerospace, automotive, etc) is preferred
Compensation:
- Our client is offering a base salary up to 140k/year plus KPI bonus along with a comprehensive benefits package and 401k with employer match. Our client is also offering a full relocation assistance package for those looking to move to Utah.

I was born and raised in York, Pa. I completed my freshman year of college at Towson University. I soon realized Astronomy was not my thing, so I transferred back home to York College to pursue a career in Business. I completed my Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Entrepreneurship and a minor in Marketing. I chose AllSearch because it felt like home. What I do in my free time?
My dad and I brew beer! My dream one day is to open up a brewery with him. If I’m not doing that, I am either reading about conspiracy theories, spending money at Target, or playing with my dog—those are really my only hobbies.
Piece of advice I would give myself?
Always remember money can’t buy happiness; but it can buy you a boat, which would probably make you a little happy. Piece of advice number two: it’s the little things in life that make it worth wild.
What I typically eat for breakfast?
Cereal. There is no argument there here, Frosted Flakes are the best.
