Senior Construction Project Manager - Industrial Coatings - Base Salary to 120k/year - Kansas City, MO

• Our client, a well-established Industrial Coatings and Environmental Remediation Company is currently seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager for a Lead role in job Estimating, Project Management, and Business Development for their Kansas City, MO location.
• Our client is a full service certified Industrial Cleaning/ Coating/ Inspection and Environmental Remediation and Construction Company that has been in business for 20 years.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for: on-screen take-offs, estimating, proposal writing, assisting in pricing and bidding for industrial coatings projects
• Communicate with all those involved in projects (engineers, architects, subcontractors, owners, etc.) to clarify scope of work, materials, schedule requirements, documentation
• Lay-out projects, logistical planning, preparation of submittals and assisting in keeping the project on time and within budget.
• Business development to increase client base (shop, field blasting & painting)
• Review bid documents, plans and specifications
• Perform on-screen takeoffs and cost estimates
• Utilize construction management software
• Prepare proposals for submission to the customer
• Assist other project managers in setting up budgets and schedules

Qualifications:

• 2+ years Industrial Coating / Painting and Estimating experience (preference for prior field work in industrial coating as foreman, or estimator)
• Blueprint reading
• On-screen take off, estimating, construction management software (e.G., True QC, Quick Bid, Heavy Bid, Procore) & MS Office/ Project
• High school diploma / GED (Bachelor’ s Degree Preferred)

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 90k - 120k/year range
• Day shift, Monday - Friday
