As a minority owned General Contractor, their services also include Pre-Construction and Construction with a wide array including Design Build, Project Management Services, Value Engineering, Logistical Planning, Project Budget Development Programs and much more. They are experts in a multitude of industries including academic, casino/hospitality, restaurants, healthcare, K-12, multifamily, mixed-use, industrial, Public Works, Parks & Recreation just to name a few. - The Senior Construction Project Manager is a crucial player on this local team in Las Vegas. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. They will be responsible for total project organization and must be well-versed in all construction methodologies/procedures to coordinate many moving parts. This person needs to be highly organized and very analytical with a problem-solving mindset. The first project this person will be working on is a $35 million dollar ground up elementary school in Laughlin, NV.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, owners, etc.
- Will create budgets and assist with generating project schedules
- Will work to document all RFI’s and owner’s change orders in real time
- Will negotiate and write contract documents with external vendors/subcontractors
- Analyze and determine resources (labor, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with strong attention to budgetary constraints and cost savings
- Must be able to manage all subcontractors and internal staff as needed
- Evaluate progress of project by preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards according to OSHA regulations and company expectations
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have a minimum of 10+ years of experience in a commercial construction Project Manager’s role
- Experience on multifamily new construction his highly desired, but not required
- Must have proven experience on very sizable projects from $30 - $50 million and working with multiple trades
- Must have an in depth understanding of daily procedures, materials, and project management principles
- Must have software technology experience and proficiency using Primavera (P6), Plangrid, Procore etc.
- Must have outstanding communication skills with internal and external employees
- A Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts in Construction Management, Engineering or relevant field is highly desired but not required at this time
- PMP or equivalent certification is highly desired
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certified
- Must have the ability to fully read and understand blueprints, specifications, contract documents etc. in relations to commercial construction projects in all construction divisions
- Must be able to successfully build relationships and network with local owners, subcontractors, and construction organizations as necessary for personal/professional development
Compensation:
- Base salary up to 130k/year or more given the right management experience and project portfolio
- Annual bonus opportunities
- Company vehicle or vehicle allowance can be negotiated
- Company gas card provided for either vehicle option
- 401(k) Retirement plan after one year of service, company matches dollar for dollar up to 4%

FUN FACT: My fun fact is actually about my brother, we are twins and he is one minute older than me. So at all times there is two of me running around somewhere!
What motivates you? – My favorite quote is from Will Durant summarizing the works of Aristotle that reads, “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” My goal in life is to always be better today, than I was yesterday. Not only for myself but for the people I choose to surround myself with. Every day I want to impact someone in a positive light and the consistent habit of excellence is what gets me out of bed every morning.
When did you start selling? – My dad told me once when I was a teenager that “you could sell ice to an Eskimo.” So ever since then I think I’ve had a knack for it. I absolutely love meeting and talking to people so it’s always been a gift I’ve had.
What is your favorite show or shows to binge watch? The Office, Lost, Stranger Things, Blue Bloods (just to name a few). I’m also a HUGE movie person, I absolutely love a good long movie that can draw in your attention and make you think.
