Senior Construction Project Manager – Construction GC – Base Salary to 180k/year – West Palm Beach, FL
- Our client is a full-service Construction Manager and GC that is expanding their South Florida Operations. They specialize in high end interior fit outs and luxury multifamily development, and pride themselves on team collaboration and an entrepreneurial culture.
- Our client is currently seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager, to be a crucial player in their Florida operations. The Senior Construction Project Manager will oversee financial budgets, coordinate contractors and manage the construction process. This role will also oversee organizing schedules, tracking inventory and ordering and managing materials. Planning and facilitating job functions including kick-off meetings of awarded projects, project budgets, project schedules, sub-meetings, owner meetings, miscellaneous design team correspondence, labor and material.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate job information to ensure completeness, design intent, and compliance with local codes and obtain all required clarifications from the design team
- Ensure that quality projects are completed on time & within budget.
- Monitor Project expenses regularly adjusting as necessary to avoid budget overruns.
- Manage and maintain relationships with subcontractors and with ownership.
- Plan, document, execute & manage projects through all phases including close-out.
- Responsible for the complete closeout of projects from the beginning of the project
- Ensure production is properly completed by maintaining ongoing contact with production personnel and clients
- Work directly with client/architect and design team to resolve problems.
- Ensure that all necessary permits and licenses are acquired before project commencement.
- Maintain ongoing contact with sales staff and clients to receive feedback regarding all aspects of workflow such as shipment dates, special needs, product updates, feasible improvements, and problems.
- Apply knowledge of technology and capabilities of the company’s physical plan to best meet client’s needs
- Run multiple projects simultaneously
- Review and coordinate shop drawings, submittals, and other activities that allow the various elements of work to correctly fit together
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience as a Project Manager in ground up and commercial interior construction
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- GC experience preferred, retail construction experience is a plus
- Financial acumen and procurement experience required
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays depending on project demands
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a plus
- Experience in ProCore a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects
- Ability to work onsite in West Palm Beach, FL
Compensation:
- Base salary up to 180k/year, dependent on experience

From the time I was a baby, I always had this tiny pink basketball in my hand and a smile on my face. When I started to grow out of that tiny pink ball, I upgraded to an actual basketball and I dribbled it every day to elementary school with that same smile on my face. So obviously, my dream was to be a WNBA player! Unfortunately, I wasn’t THAT good. I played in college and had the opportunity to coach at the collegiate level which ended up being an even bigger dream come true. I learned my true passion was for people and helping them reach their goals, which essentially lead me to this career in recruiting. Now, I don’t dribble my ball to work every day, but I do come to work with a SMILE every day!
