Senior Community Manager - Student Housing - Base Salary to 92k/year - Richardson, TX
- Our client, a business with over 100 years of history that deeply values the local community and fosters a culture of care, is seeking a Senior Community Manager to oversee a student housing community in Richardson, TX.
- The Senior Community Manager will oversee a community with more than 1,000 units, ensuring the fiscal and operational success of the community while providing leadership and vision to the team to achieve the highest levels of exceptional living and performance metrics.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily community operations, maintenance, financial reporting, and employee training and development.
- Monitor and ensure consistent execution of operational procedures and policies; recommend and implement improvements.
- Assist with budget development and monitor financial and operational results to achieve budgeted goals.
- Collaborate with the Regional Community Manager/Director and client/owner to address financial performance gaps.
- Ensure compliance with governing business documents and programs.
- Manage leasing functions, including day-to-day activities in property management software.
- Review market conditions to recommend pricing and marketing strategies for occupancy and revenue growth.
- Provide and adjust in-depth marketing support, ensuring websites and collateral materials are accurate and updated.
- Maintain positive resident relations from initial contact through move-out, overseeing customer service scores and dispute resolutions.
- Direct the maintenance team to meet daily requirements and oversee property inspections to maintain safety, cleanliness, and overall appeal.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 4+ years of experience in property or hospitality management
- Experience in the student housing industry preferred
- Proficient in MS Office, database management
Compensation:
- Base salary to 92k/year, plus bonus
- Monthly car stipend
