Senior Architectural Designer – Construction – Base Salary to 70k/year – Cincinnati, OH
- Our client, recognized nationally as a top Home Builder is seeking a Senior Architectural Designer to create and maintain home design collections per company standards & targeted markets.
- In this role, the Senior Architectural Designer will ensure the Architectural Production Teams have clear instructions to product accurate construction documents that match the design intents of the overall program. This role will take a leadership spot in training and development of the associates within the department and within implementing team goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop customer modified sketches and coordinates all relevant information with appropriate internal teams
- Manages process for providing design drawings and information to marketing for use in all marketing collateral
- Coordinate grey-scale interior models during design & review all final product brochures to ensure consistency and ensure designs are represented in the best manner
- Assists in Planning and Coordinating new product training for sales teams & internal support
- Assists in regular reviews of product collections
- Reviews work of Architectural Designers for completion, consistency and quality of design
- Converts finalized preliminary designs into production designs for marketing & informational collateral
- Identifies new current home design features and trend concepts and suggests addition or deletion from offerings and collections
- Stay informed of market trends related to home designs, and maintain a local and national file of new designs and features
- Reviews construction documents of new and updated home designs and verifies initial design intent of livability and construction efficiency
- Conducts New Community/New Product Zoning and Architectural Reviews
- Coordinates frame, value engineering and trim walks for new product designs — brings construction drawings, HVAC Plan, investment manual drawings and other relevant information
Qualifications:
- 4+ Years of Architectural Design Experience
- AutoCAD knowledge & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Leadership Experience
- Creative Design & Portfolio Available (will be required to share)
Compensation for this role includes a base salary up to 70k/year + bonus. Our client also offers competitive health and life benefits & 401k. Relocation assistance is available.
