Sales Engineer - Plastics Manufacturing - Base Salary to 95k/year - Lancaster, PA
- Our client is an industry-leading custom plastic injection molding manufacturer. They have a nationwide presence with multiple manufacturing plants across New England and the Mid-Atlantic regions. Our plastic manufacturing client is looking to add a Sales Engineer to the team.
- The Sales Engineer will ideally have a strong technical background in injection molding processing as well as a robust background in a client facing sales role within the plastics manufacturing industry. The Sales Engineer will assist with expanding the current customer base as well as growing out current accounts while addressing client needs for custom manufacturing solutions.
- When not traveling to customer sites, this role would be an in-office opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Manage robust relationships with current customers
- Proactively sourcing and identifying opportunities for production
- Effectively explaining technical feasibility and feature of injection molding capabilities to prospects
- Collaborate with internal engineering team to create competitive pricing and quotes for proposals
- Travel to customer facility locations as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is preferred
- 3+ years of technical sales experience in the plastics manufacturing industry
- Robust background in custom plastic injection molding is required
- Experience managing & growing accounts
- Flexibility to travel to customer sites up to 40%
Compensation:
- Base salary up to 95k/year plus commission structure. Mileage is reimbursed for all travel.

I was born and raised in York, Pa. I completed my freshman year of college at Towson University. I soon realized Astronomy was not my thing, so I transferred back home to York College to pursue a career in Business. What I do in my free time?
My dad and I brew beer! My dream one day is to open up a brewery with him. If I’m not doing that, I am either reading about conspiracy theories, spending money at Target, or playing with my dog—those are really my only hobbies.
Piece of advice I would give myself?
Always remember money can’t buy happiness; but it can buy you a boat, which would probably make you a little happy. Piece of advice number two: it’s the little things in life that make it worth wild.
What I typically eat for breakfast?
Cereal. There is no argument there here, Frosted Flakes are the best.
