Sales Engineer - Plastics Manufacturing - Base Salary to 90k/year - Hartford, CT
- Our client is an industry-leading plastics manufacturer. They are seeking a Sales Engineer with a strong technical background in plastic injection molding.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for expanding client base by proactively identifying and sourcing custom plastic injection molding opportunities for production
- Effectively demonstrating technical features of injection molding capabilities to prospective clients
- Driving sales by building and maintaining strong business relationships while ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Travelling to customer sites and providing personalized service and support as well as managing on-site visits to showcase the facility and processes
- Collaborating with Engineering teams to develop accurate and competitive price quotes and proposals tailored to client needs
- Consistently meeting and exceeding established sales goals, tracking progress and adjusting strategies to maximize success
Qualifications:
- Must have 3+ years technical sales experience.
- Must have Bachelor’s degree.
- Must have plastic injection molding experience.
- Experience managing/growing sales accounts.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel to customer sites.
Compensation:
- Base salary to 90k/year, plus competitive commission structure.
