Product Engineer / Sales Engineer - Leading Mechanical Equipment Sales - Base to $80k+ bonus/commission - HUGE growth opportunity - Seattle, WA

  • Our client, a high caliber commercial and industrial mechanical equipment sales and solutions company is looking for a Product Engineer/Sales Engineer to be based out of Seattle, WA.   This company is committed to providing best-in-class customer service and believes that starts with hiring the right people!

  • The role of the Product Engineer/Sales Engineer will range depending on experience. Ability to sell to mechanical engineers, mechanical contractors and building owners will set you up for success. Having a solid understanding of HVAC systems and products is crucial.
  • In this role, strong salespeople with product knowledge and the ability to sell on the strength of the company and the lines carried is of the upmost importance.  This role has HUGE growth opportunities including ownership opportunity! 

Requirements: The ideal candidate for this role will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or relative field experience.  A bonus would be 2+ years of sales success.  They should have strong mechanical aptitude and exceptional communication skills. 

Compensation includes a base salary ranging from $65-80k, along with an aggressive, uncapped incentive plan.  Additionally, the company offers a comprehensive benefits package, 401k, 100% covered health/dental insurance and profit sharing.

What motivates you?  People.  Making a difference.  Giving back to the world.  I have been blessed with the most wonderful family in the entire world and have strong roots that have given me such a happy life that I want everyone to experience happiness the way I do.  So if I can be even a smile to a stranger and maybe give them an ounce of happiness, I feel fulfilled!


What did you want to be when you grew up?

From the time I was a baby, I always had this tiny pink basketball in my hand and a smile on my face.  When I started to grow out of that tiny pink ball, I upgraded to an actual basketball and I dribbled it every day to elementary school with that same smile on my face.  So obviously, my dream was to be a WNBA player!  Unfortunately, I wasn’t THAT good.  I played in college and had the opportunity to coach at the collegiate level which ended up being an even bigger dream come true.  I learned my true passion was for people and helping them reach their goals, which essentially lead me to this career in recruiting.  Now, I don’t dribble my ball to work every day, but I do come to work with a SMILE every day!


When did you start selling?

I honestly feel like I was born to sell, but I really figured out it was a path I wanted to pursue when I was at the beach and visited a food stand on the boardwalk that only accepted cash… I unfortunately did not have any cash, but reallyyy wanted a crab pretzel.  I told the man working the stand, I will get 30 people up here to buy a pretzel from you and if I do you owe me a crab pretzel.  I accomplished my task in about 5 minutes and got my crab pretzel!

What one piece of advice would you give to your ten-year old self?  Spend as much time with the people you love!!!
