Residential Construction Estimator - Construction - Base Salary to 85k/year - Palm Harbor, FL
- Our client is a leading commercial and luxury residential GC in the greater Tampa Bay area offering more than 30 years of experience. Bringing a unique blend of expertise and knowledge to complex projects, they are renowned for their exceptional skill and commitment excellence.
- The Residential Construction Estimator is an in-office role focused on luxury residential ground-up projects, condominium buildings, as well as trim and door hardware.
Responsibilities:
- Review blueprints/specifications.
- Survey potential worksites.
- Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and labor agencies; and provide a comprehensive cost analysis for potential clients.
- Every estimate needs to address all relevant governmental regulations.
- Excellent communication skills are required to present your estimates to stakeholders and clients.
- Construction Estimator Duties and Responsibilities
- Create comprehensive cost estimates for a wide variety of construction projects.
- Verify vendor and subcontractor estimates fall within the defined scope.
- Create estimates for all necessary insurance considerations.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of construction estimation experience. Primarily residential.
- Proficiency with Procore, Contractor Foreman, or Planswift.
- Experience with vendor management, procurement, and construction management.
- Familiarity with construction practices, costs, codes, and procedures.
Compensation:
- Base salary up to 85k/year.
- Health, dental, vision insurance
- 401k with 3% contribution.
- PTO
- 100% vested after 1 year.
