Regional Sales Manager - Industrial Product Manufacturer - North Central US Territory - Base to $60k, Full Benefits

  • Our client, an industry leading industrial product manufacturer, has an immediate need for a skilled Regional Sales Manager to cover a North Central US territory.  This will be a remote position covering a multi-state region including Minnesota, Missouri, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois and grow to cover portions of southern Canada.  The territory is well-established, and the position will be around an 80/20 split between account management and new business development.
  • The role of the Regional Sales Manager is to develop and grow a strong industrial reseller network that will drive sales and share of all products in the company portfolio. The Regional Sales Rep will plan and execute growth strategies and work with a network of dealers and distributors to maximize sales and profitability.  The RSM will be heavily involved in the training of dealers and the development business plans and sales objectives for individual accounts.

Compensation for this position will include a solid base salary up to $60,000, along with a lucrative commission package that will take total earnings up to $120k in the first year.  Our client offers a comprehensive benefits package (medical/dental/vision), 401k, car allowance, expense account, generous paid time off and more.

Requirements for this position include at least 3 years of industrial distribution or building materials sales experience and proven success in managing a large, multi-state territory.  The ideal candidate will have experience selling through distribution channels such as wholesale distributers, dealers, and manufacturers reps.  The candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree and be available for regular overnight travel.
