Regional Sales Manager - Construction Products Manufacturer - Base Salary to 175k/year - Los Angeles, CA
  • Our client is a manufacturer of the SMARTci Systems that has been in business for 12+ years. Their premier sales team is focused on increasing Revenue & Profits by connecting daily to potential commercial customers in their territory. Their business provides innovative solutions for improved Continuous Insulation (CI) and has a passion for developing customer advocates resulting in profitable growth. Their Company specializes in continuous insulation by providing one of a kind Composite Metal Hybrid (CMH) Sub-Framing Systems that meet the most recent ASHRAE requirements for commercial building envelopes. SMARTci is a green and thermal product for the construction industry.
  • Currently they are seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the West Coast. Their premier sales team is focused on bringing value to Architects, Specification Writers, General Contractors, and other commercial building professionals through advanced educational based selling by providing Quantifiable Performance and Economic Solutions.
Responsibilities:
  • Drive the territory business strategy to maximize revenue growth opportunities.
  • Direct, plan, and implement effective product sales processes and strategies for optimum sales results.
  • Leverage technology weekly to record and monitor new prospect/client, pipeline opportunities.
  • Build and execute annual sales plans and review plans monthly/quarterly/annually.
  • Must be willing to learn new technology and use it routinely in the role.
  • Collaborate with Sales Operation Manager (SOM) and the Sales team to assist in driving sales results.
  • Work efficiently within our CRM to prospect, administer leads generated by campaigns, update customer records, manage a pipeline of opportunities and deliver accurate forecasting for the assigned territory.
  • Continually learn and promote understanding of company’s product offerings as well as the customer’s larger program objectives.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to create product programs and campaigns for new products.
  • Maintain sales and training processes.
  • Bi-weekly Sales toolbox virtual meeting with the Sales team.
  • Travel with the TSRs and ISRs. 60% travel required
  • Conduct lead development, lead follow up, qualification and targeted account selling in person, on the phone, and virtually.
  • Manage expenses in a timely manner and adhere to company policies.
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Manufacturing or Construction Materials sales experience with proven growth record in annual sales
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred
  • Proven track record of increased annual sales growth
  • Experience in lead development, lead follow up, qualification and targeted account selling in person, on the phone, and with virtual technology
  • Microsoft Office, CRM and ERP proficiency
  • 60% - 70% travel required
Compensation:
  • Base salary range from 150k - 175k/year, flexible dependent on experience
  • Commission structure.
  • $650 Monthly auto allowance
  • 1st year estimated. total Target Cash (base + Commission) 260k/year
