Quality Supervisor - Industrial Products - Base Salary to 75k/year - Columbia, SC
- Our client, a polymer solutions provider is searching for a Quality Supervisor to join their onsite team in Orangeburg, SC.
- In this role, the Quality Supervisor will supervise all shift employees as assigned and compiles with all safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping standards. This is a night shift position (set in 12 hour shifts), 7am - 7pm. Schedule will be a rotational schedule of 36 hours, then 48 hours.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain area quality system in compliance with ISO 9001:2000 and UL/CSA7
- Monitor effectiveness of inspection function and implement changes as needed
- Initiate corrective and preventative action including investigation and resolution of customer complaints
- Conduct system audits, process audits, and audits related to specific corrective and preventative actions
- Evaluate and perform failure analysis on rejected material and communicate findings
- Analyze quality data to identify improvement opportunities
- Provide training as needed to quality personnel and operators
- Supervise inspection personnel
- Review inspection records for accuracy and completeness
- Review and approve test reports and shipping documentation
- Monitor inspection data to ensure that daily goals are being met
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience within Quality
- High School Diploma required
- ASQ, CQT, and/or CQE certification is preferred
Compensation:
- Base salary to 75k/year
- Overtime pay for hours worked over 40 hours
