Quality Manager – Flexible Packaging – Base Salary to 90k/year – McComb, MS
- Our client, a high growth flexible packaging manufacturer, is seeking a Quality Manager to lead all quality efforts in ensuring all aspects of Manufacturing are completed in adherence to company standards & regulations.
- In this role, the Quality Manager will set the strategic direction of the quality department & oversee all inspections to ensure products meet specifications & customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Implement methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and equipment
- Manage & maintain SQF certification program
- Ensure products adhere to quality standards
- Prepare trends and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing manufacturing data
- Maintain testing standards
- Train & manage production line staff in standard practices and quality assessment of products
- Tack products through the manufacturing process
- Perform detailed inspections of final products
- Eliminate product returns and customer complaints
- Conduct too cause analysis and implement corrective actions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 10+ years of Quality & Continuous Improvement Experience
- Working experience with Quality Systems and Statistical Process Control
- Experience with Managing Certifications—SQF, ISO, ABB
- Strong Problem Solving & Analytical Skills
Compensation for this role includes a base salary up to 90k/year, plus quarterly bonus. Our client also offers competitive medical & dental benefits & 401k with a match. Relocation assistance is available.
