Quality Manager – Fasteners - Base Salary to 140k/year - Atlanta, GA
- Our client is a privately held distributor in the fastener industry and has been in business for over 90 years. They are currently expanding seeking an experienced Quality Manager or Director of Quality level candidate.
- The Quality Manager will be responsible for leading the day-to-day quality operations throughout the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, grow, and promote quality, best practices, and continuous improvement throughout the company.
- Ensure quality and regulatory compliance for both customers and suppliers.
- Understanding of Quality Systems (ISO9001, AS9120, ISO14001).
- Maintain knowledge of various fastener standards (ASTM, SAE, ISO, DIN, Mil-Spec, etc.)
- Knowledge of fastener manufacturing process (cold, heading, stamping, plating, turning).
- Lead an environment of quality improvement company wide.
- Review customer designs and drawings as needed.
- Knowledge of fastener measuring and test equipment methods.
- Collaborate and partner with sales, operations, purchasing, technical services, and other senior management to meet company objectives.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in a quality leadership role in an industry setting.
- 5+ years of experience in the commercial and Mil-Spec fastener space
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as RoHS, REACH, DFARS, Conflict Minerals, CTPAT, etc.
- Knowledge of fastener manufacturing methods, including plating and finishing processes.
- Experienced working in an ISO 9001 environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field.
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 100k – 140k/year range
- Generous vacation + PTO time
- 401k match
