Quality Control Manager - Industrial Manufacturing - Base Salary to 130k/year - Mansfield, MA
Job Description
- Our client offers Global Manufacturing Solutions: Precision Machining, Sheet Metal Fabrication, Painting, and Assembly. They are continuing to strategically expand, adding to their team, purchasing new machines, and adding capabilities!
- They are adding a Quality Control Manager to manage total quality programs, policies, and initiatives. The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for identifying, analyzing and developing improvements in productivity, quality, client relationships, and customer service.
- Manage and maintain QMS system, ITAR and ISO certification.
- Develops and deploys the quality plan and ensures that it is documented and accessible throughout the organization. Documents include but are not limited to policies, procedures, work instructions, forms necessary to meet business requirements and quality system standards.
- Manages and implements continuous improvement of quality systems (CAPA, deviations, investigations, change control, returned goods, complaint handling, document control, vendor management, raw materials, validations and quality systems related training).
- Oversees the release (or rejection) components for delivery to customers.
- Collaborates on disposition and processing of non-conforming product as a member of the Material Review Board and or RMA process.
- Uses various tools to evaluate the effectiveness of the quality system, including balanced scorecard, management reviews, internal audits, feedback from internal and external customers, etc.
- Expert in ISO 9001
- Precision milling, turning experience required
- Large job shop environment experience
- Must possess mastery of GD&T
- Base salary in the 100k - 130k/year range
