Property Manager – Non-Profit Organization - Base Salary to 66k/year – Santa Rosa, CA

  • Our client, is a non-profit entity that operates low-income housing for seniors throughout the western US.  They are looking to bring on a Property Manager that will operate a 186 unit facility that is very well maintained in Santa Rosa, CA.  The individual has to be open to leading people on a day to day basis while enhancing the financial and physical stability of the property.  The organization has approx. 15 direct reports for the position.  The individual leaving the role is retiring from the organization and has been a part of the property for a number of decades. 
  • The position is a normal Monday-Friday schedule with some on call duties as needed.  Top benefits and perks with this position, need someone with an interest in helping seniors navigate their housing needs.  The option for a 2 bedroom apartment is also included in the package if the candidate wishes.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or College Degree
  • 5+ years experience working in property management specifically in affordable housing / HUD
  • Experience with a large building over 100 units
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations
  • Low Income Housing Tax Credit Specialist and/or Certified Occupancy Specialist is required (Note: will be able to gain these within 120 days if you don’t already have one or the other)
  • Experience working with seniors
  • Must have transportation and valid Drivers License

Compensation:

  • The position offers a base salary in the 58k – 66k/year range
  • Comprehensive medical benefits, 2 weeks sick leave, 2 weeks vacation
  • Paid time off, Retirement/403b option

Nothing, I bide my time until Chipotle.
