Property Adjuster – Regional Carrier - Base Salary to 90k/year – Hagerstown, MD

• Our client, a reputable 100+ year carrier that serves MD, PA, VA, DE, and DC, is looking for a Property Adjuster to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for investigating and adjusting complex property claims within an inside claims team. No field work.
• Other responsibilities include: Answering questions from independent adjusters and agents, overseeing the activities of those adjusters, assisting insureds, examining policy to verify coverage, investigates cause of loss, pursues salvage & subrogation if applicable, prepares files and letters are sent to insured at the conclusion of the claim, etc.   

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of claims adjusting experience, commercial and farm policy claims.
• Xactimate property estimating software experience highly preferred.
• Understanding on building construction principles preferred.
• 1^st party claims litigation & subrogation claims experience.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 75k – 90k/year range depending on experience.

• This role is hybrid. 3 days from home and 2 days in office.
