Project Manager – High-End Retail Construction – Base Salary to 150k/year – Petaluma, CA

• Our client provides premium construction services for Fortune 500 companies and boutique businesses across the United States. • The role of Construction Project Manager will implement the preconstruction, construction, and project closeout phases of projects with an emphasis on establishing and maintaining project controls and completing projects in a timely and cost-effective manner. This role is expected to work on multiple projects simultaneously, multi-task, and balance competing priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Negotiate, coordinate, and direct work of the superintendents.
  
• Develop strong relationships with subcontractors, inspectors, and other related parties.
  
• Oversight of project safety, budget, and financial performance.
  
• Management of project teams.
  
• Management of customer satisfaction.
  
• Review and analyze project plans, facilitate bidding, negotiations, and the buyout process.
  
• Review RFI’ s, and examine and negotiate change orders and review and comment on submittals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’ s degree in the field related to construction (i.E., engineering, architecture, construction management).
  
• 10+ years of experience in construction Project Management or 15+ years of progressive construction Project management experience with emphasis in complex and phased project delivery.
  
• Respect for details and the ability to execute at a high level with significant independence.
  
• Must be skilled in estimating and scheduling.
  
• High degree of demonstrated organizational skills and problem-solving ability, specifically the ability to access resources inside and outside of the company.
  
• Client/business development experience. Superior and personable negotiator.
  
• Must have experience using construction management software or Viewpoint Construction Management software.
  
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; scheduling software such as MS Project, or other.

Compensation:

• Base salary up to 150k/year.
  
• Bonus up to 20% of project profitability.
