Project Manager - Commercial/Residential Drywall and Finishing Construction - Base Salary to 100k/year - Cleveland, OH
- Our client is a commercial drywall and finishing company that serves the surrounding Cleveland areas. They provide service within the commercial and residential sectors and are known for their professionalism and execution. They have a people first mindset and have high expectations on their work. Due to growth they are in need of a Project Manager to join their team.
- In this role, the Project Manager will be responsible for overall project management responsibilities and overseeing all commercial projects. This position will require a lot of field work and overseeing the project through to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers, architects and other workers in the same project
- Choose subcontractors and delegate their responsibilities
- Responsible for any delays, emergencies and problems that can arise
- Comply with safety and building codes as well as legal requirements
- Report project progress and budget to President
- Explain contract and technical matter to others in a clear manner
- Prepare budget and cost estimates, along with work timetables
- Provide and communicate material takeoffs and requirements
- Schedule material deliveries and manpower
- Attend job site meeting to ensure proper scheduling
- Assist Job site Foreman with any and all management support they need
- Schedule organize tools and equipment for job sites
- Job site inspections weekly to approve payments to material suppliers, employees, and subcontractors
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience working as a commercial Project Manager
- Architectural drawings and specifications experience
- “Green” Project experience preferred
- Drywall experience a plus
Compensation:
- Base salary up to 100k/year
- Fuel Card / Vehicle Allowance
- Per Diem
- Laptop/Cell Phone

What did you want to be when you grew up?
From the time I was a baby, I always had this tiny pink basketball in my hand and a smile on my face. When I started to grow out of that tiny pink ball, I upgraded to an actual basketball and I dribbled it every day to elementary school with that same smile on my face. So obviously, my dream was to be a WNBA player! Unfortunately, I wasn’t THAT good. I played in college and had the opportunity to coach at the collegiate level which ended up being an even bigger dream come true. I learned my true passion was for people and helping them reach their goals, which essentially lead me to this career in recruiting. Now, I don’t dribble my ball to work every day, but I do come to work with a SMILE every day!
