Project Engineer - Mechanical - Base Salary to 75k/year - Santa Clarita, CA
- Our client is an HVAC and mechanical construction company handling both public and private projects across Southern California for over 25 years.
- In this position, the Project Engineer would be responsible for the production and gathering of Project related information from the Project Manager they would report to.
Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming phone calls, directing inquiries and providing information as needed.
- Oversee construction documentation, including receiving, filing, and distributing documents efficiently.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, ensuring detailed documentation and distribution of meeting outcomes.
- Collect and organize submittals from subcontractors and vendors, ensuring each project’s closeout documentation is complete and accurate.
- Convey critical project updates to clients and project teams with clarity and precision.
- Assist the project manager by drafting comprehensive proposals, RFIs, budgets, and preliminary schedules.
- Contribute innovative ideas to enhance company processes, encouraging a constructive, positive work environment.
- Maintain adherence to timelines, ensuring all deliverables are met as scheduled.
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate for this position will possess at least 2+ years of experience in the HVAC/Construction industry. A degree in construction is highly desired. Additionally, they should possess strong experience with Microsoft platforms such as Microsoft Word.
Compensation:
- Our client is offering a base salary up to 75k/year. The company also offers a comprehensive benefit package including 70% covered medical, 100% covered Dental/Vision, generous PTO and much more.
