- Our client is a custom cabinet manufacturer in Colorado, who has been in business for over 50 years. Their focus is to provide the best quality and lead time to their customers.
- Our client is looking for a Production Manager who has a passion for Kaizen and automation. The Production Manager will champion continuous improvement across multiple departments, and embrace change management.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership of Production department functions, including operations, warehousing, delivery, and engineering.
- Strong customers focus; Deliver WOW to the customer each time.
- Decrease remakes & short orders year over year.
- Drive direct labor cost reduction year over year.
- Lead and train Kaizen and Continuous Improvement efforts.
- Drive On-time delivery metrics within Engineering, Production, Delivery.
- Oversee inventory and warehousing initiatives.
- Develop methods for decreasing material spend year over year.
- Lead Safety initiatives and Safety teams.
- Train and develop Operations leadership team.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of direct work experience in a production and manufacturing leadership role.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans in collaboration with key business stakeholders.
- Good computer skills using MS Office products, CRM, and specialized software programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field experience required (or equivalent work experience).
- Highly proficient with Excel.
- Ability to drive metrics and complete data analytics.
- Ability to complete return-on-investment analysis and pivot tables.
- Experience in teaching, coaching, and leadership.
Compensation:
- Base salary up to 120k/year
