- Our client, an industry leader known for pioneering innovative, sustainable solutions with a safety-first approach, has been shaping the field for over 50 years. They are now seeking a Process Technician to join their team as they expand.
- The Process Technician will ensure maximum uptime of production machinery by diagnosing and addressing quality issues and variations from customer specifications due to molding machines, processes, materials, or operator interactions.
Responsibilities:
- Initiates the start of molding machines to ensure timely completion of production targets
- Troubleshoots molding machine malfunctions or bottlenecks, suggesting material changes or process adjustments
- Records machine malfunctions and adjustments for documentation purposes
- Communicates necessary raw material adjustments to material handlers to enhance production efficiency
- Conducts test runs of process or machine adjustments to uphold quality standards
- Regularly changes machine inserts to meet customer specifications
- Alerts Maintenance Technicians to electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic issues requiring attention
- Identifies parts or machines needing replacement and reports to supervisors
- Assembles mechanical components under the supervision of a technical manager
- Conducts routine analyses and recommends equipment or method changes
- Assists supervisors in assigning operators and provides guidance on machine operation
- Helps Material Handlers troubleshoot material issues
- Writes simple robot programs and adjusts complex ones
- Possesses basic knowledge of operating various types of robots
Qualifications:
- Prior experience with processing of plastic injection molding machines required
- Experience with basic hand and power tools
Compensation:
- Base salary to 30.00/hour
