Process Technician – Plastics Manufacturer – Base Salary to 38.00/hour – Schaumburg, IL
- Our client is a leading plastics manufacturer. They are well established and have been in business for well over 80 years.
- The Process Technician will be responsible for doing set ups, change overs, and mold changes in a plastics manufacturing environment. There are 1st and 3rd shift openings available for this opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Set up new orders and get parts running to print.
- Changeovers and tooling cleanouts and storage and mold changes.
- Set up new product runs and do trials.
- Involvement in start ups and shut downs as well as troubleshooting.
- Continuous improvement
- Monitor the bottle production line and ensure continuous flow of bottles throughout production.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of plastics experience in plastics doing set ups and change overs (prefer injection molding or blow molding).
- Experience maintaining auxiliary equipment.
- Strong technical and mechanical skills.
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 25.00 – 38.00/hour range
- Generous vacation + PTO time
